PartnerRe: Exor and Covéa resume negotiations

Covéa has restarted discussions with Exor, the Agnelli family's holding company, for the acquisition of PartnerRe.

In March 2020, the mutual group was considering the acquisition of the Bermudan reinsurer, valued at 9 billion USD. Covéa decided on 12 May 2020 to renounce to this operation due to the health crisis.

No further information has been disclosed by both groups.
