Partnership between Munich Re and Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft

In partnership with Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, a German institute specialised in applied science, Munich Re launched a project called "Give a Breath" in March 2020. The aim of the project is to promote innovative ideas to help people with Covid-19.

The competition involves three parts:

• Designing non-invasive lung ventilators and oxygen concentrators
• Developing non-invasive breathing masks
• Providing information on the use of equipment and basic knowledge about coronavirus
