Paul Murray, new CEO of Swiss Re Asia

Paul Murray has been promoted Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Swiss Re's reinsurance business in Asia, Regional President and member of the group' s Executive Committee. He is succeeding Russell Higginbotham, who has been appointed CEO of the group's Reinsurance Solutions unit. The appointment will be effective starting 1 April 2022.

A graduate of the University of Glasgow and Heriot-Watt University (UK), P. Murray joined the Swiss group in 2003 where he held several management positions over 19 years of activity, notably in Asia, the UK, Ireland and Africa.
