Publication of Takaful insurance circular in Morocco

The circular introducing Takaful insurance into the Moroccan insurance code came into force on 25 October 2021.

Published by the Supervisory Authority for Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS), this law is structured around four chapters and 63 articles:

• Chapter 1 : Takaful insurance contract and management regulations of the Takaful insurance fund
• Chapter 2 : Takaful insurance and reinsurance companies
• Chapter 3 : Takaful insurance transactions
• Chapter 4 : Miscellaneous and final provisions
