Qatar Insurance Company (QIC) has introduced the country’s first-ever school fees protection insurance, offering parents comprehensive financial support in the event of unforeseen circumstances such as involuntary job loss, permanent disability, or accidental death.
The coverage also extends to children, providing protection in cases where studies are interrupted due to health issues or accidents. Additionally, the policy reimburses prepaid exam fees if a student is unable to attend classes due to illness, hospitalization, or the accidental death of a relative.
To ensure educational continuity, compensation will be paid directly to the educational institution, helping avoid any disruption to the student’s academic progress.
The policy can be underwritten through the qic.online portal or via QIC’s network of agencies. It is also available through select schools.
