Results of Tokio Marine in 2004-2005

A 12.7% increase in Tokio marine turnover to reach 1 690 billion JPY (15.8 billion USD) in 2004-2005. However, the ten typhoons and the earthquake that had hit Japan during the previous year have slightly affected the results of the company which saw its net profit go down from 87.9 billion JPY (820 million USD) in 2003-2004 to 87.6 billion JPY (817.7 million USD) in 2004-2005.
