SCOR: P&C renewal, 19% growth

SCOR Global P&C, the French group's non-life class of business, has benefited from the improvement in the reinsurance market as at 1 January 2022. At this date, renewed premiums, representing 64% of SCOR P&C's portfolio, have increased by 19% at constant exchange rates.

This growth is partly due to an estimated 4.9% rate increase in property and casualty reinsurance.

The French reinsurer expects the positive market trend to continue during the next renewals in April and July 2022.
