Taawouniyate Taamine Takafuli, a new subsidiary of MCMA and BCP

The Mutuelle Centrale Marocaine d'Assurance (MCMA) and the Banque Centrale Populaire (BCP) have created a joint insurance subsidiary.

Known as Taawouniyate Taamine Takafuli, the new entity has been granted approval by the Supervisory Authority of Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) to conduct Takaful activities in Morocco.

The new Moroccan insurer proposes a range of three products:

1. Death cover for family protection,
2. A multirisk office coverage,
3. Savings plan.
