Toll of the mid-November storm at the port of Algiers

The storm, which lashed Algiers port on the night of 13th to 14th of November, 2004, caused serious material damage. Several ships ran aground among which two cargos, Béchar and Batna, belonging to the national company of Maritime Transport (SNTM). Other damage has been reported in Jijel and Skikda.
