Tunisian insurance market: results as at 30 September 2021

All Tunisian insurers have recorded a turnover of 2 093.6 million TND (744.444 million USD) during the first nine months of 2021. The premium volume is up by 7.5% over one year.

As at 30 September 2021, non-life premiums stand at 1 625.9 million TND (578.139 million USD) compared to 467.7 million TND (166.305 million USD) for the life and capitalization classes of business.

The non-life activity is dominated by the motor activity with 45% of the market share followed by health insurance (14.7%) and fire (7%).
