Wafa Assurance, MAMDA and AtlantaSanad granted Takaful licenses

The Moroccan Supervisory Authority for Insurance and Social Welfare (ACAPS) held on 10 December 2021 its 22^nd board meeting, at the end of which it granted approvals to WAFA Assurance, MAMDA and AtlantaSanad to carry out Takaful activities in Morocco.

The Takaful subsidiaries of the three insurers are respectively named :

• Wafa Takaful,
• Attakafulia Assurances,
• Taaouiniyate Taamine Takafuli.

Other companies in the running for future licenses include Marocaine Vie and AXA Assurance Maroc.
