We care Tunisie: a new alert system against natural catastrophes

We Care Tunisie, an early-warning system to guard against natural disasters, has been operational since 16 January 2020. In case of imminent danger, telephone operators will send SMS messages to mobile phone users to warn them.

This new digital-based alert system is the result of close collaboration between the Ministry of Technology and Communication, the Ministry of the Interior, telephone operators and the International Association of Mobile Networks (GSMA).
