Samb’a Assurance launches microinsurance product for Gabonese farmers

Samb’a Assurance has launched “Samb’a Exploitation Agrikol,” the first agricultural microinsurance solution in Gabon.

Designed for farmers, cooperatives, and agricultural operations, the product provides coverage for vegetable, food, and fruit crops against five key risks:

• Drought
• Uncontrollable pests and diseases
• Floods
• Fires
• Storms and high winds
  
  The Agricultural and Farming Cooperative (SCOOPS SOCAF) is the first policyholder to underwrite the product.
