The Saudi insurance market recorded turnover of 84.3 billion SAR (22.5 billion USD) as of 31 December 2025, marking a 10.8% increase compared with 76.1 billion SAR (20.2 billion USD) in 2024.
Net profits generated by all local insurers totaled 1.9 billion SAR (506.3 million USD), compared to 3.6 billion SAR (957.9 million USD) in 2024, down 47.2%.
The sector’s net combined ratio also deteriorated by 2.2 percentage points year-over-year, reaching 99.9% at year-end, compared with 97.7% in 2024.
