Zurich Insurance acquires 80% of Indonesian group PT Asuransi Adira

Swiss insurer Zurich Insurance has acquired an 80% stake in PT Asuransi group Adira Dinamika (Adira Insurance), for the amount of 414 million USD. This acquisition will enable Zurich to consolidate its position in Indonesia where it has been active since 1991.

The transaction is subject to the approval of the supervisory authorities. It could be finalized in the next six months.

As a reminder, Adira Insurance Group is one of the ten largest property and casualty insurers in Indonesia.
