Senior management reshuffles within five Algerian public insurance and reinsurance companies

Algerian Ministry of FinanceThe Algerian Ministry of Finance has proceeded to a reshuffle within public insurance and reinsurance companies.

Five senior officials were concerned by this movement which took effect on 12 July 2022, namely:

  • Youcef Benmicia, CEO of the Compagnie Algérienne des Assurances (CAAT), was appointed CEO of the Société Nationale d'Assurance (SAA)
  • Nacer Sais, CEO of the Société Nationale d'Assurance (SAA), became CEO of the Compagnie Algérienne des Assurances (CAAT)
  • Hadj Mohamed Seba, CEO of the Compagnie Centrale de Réassurance (CCR), was appointed CEO of the Compagnie Algérienne d'Assurance et de Réassurance (CAAR)
  • Abdellah Benseidi, Deputy CEO in charge of the technical operations of the Compagnie Centrale de Réassurance (CCR), was appointed CEO of the CCR
  • Zohir Laiche became CEO of the Compagnie Algérienne d'Assurance et de Garantie des Exportations (CAGEX).
