First edition of the General Assembly on InsuranceThe first edition of the General Assembly on Insurance took place from 13 to 15 June 2023 in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.

Organized by the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Forecasting, in partnership with local market trade associations, the event focused on the theme: "What insurance to support Burkina Faso's economic and social development?".

Industry professionals, political and administrative decision-makers came together to assess the situation, make recommendations and propose solutions to improve the performance of insurance companies.
