Canada Life Re: 4th best global reinsurer
Canada Life Re is now ranked fourth in the 2021 Top 50 Global Reinsurers, according to the latest rankings released by AM Best. It is the first life reinsurer to appear in the rating agency's ranking.
The French group SCOR, ranked 4th in 2020, is now ranked 5th.
In 2021, Canada Life Re has recorded a 62% increase in its turnover to 23.6 billion USD.
It should be recalled that the three top spots are respectively occupied by Munich Re, Swiss Re and Hannover Re.
