Implementation of a parametric agricultural insurance model in Côte d’Ivoire

The Ivorian government has engaged Finactu's teams to support its project aimed at strengthening index-based agricultural insurance in the country.

The consulting firm has been tasked with developing a complete diagnosis of parametric insurance, identifying the sectors that could be suitable for this new insurance technique and proposing a complete statistical data accumulation process.

Through this initiative, Côte d'Ivoire seeks to develop the agricultural sector by relying on the technical innovations of parametric insurance, particularly the use of satellite images.
