Edouard Vieillefond, new CEO of CCR

Edouard VieillefondEdouard Vieillefond has been promoted Chief Executive Officer of Caisse Centrale de Réassurance (CCR) by presidential decree dated 16 June 2023. He is taking over from Bertrand Labilloy, who has headed the company since 2015. The appointment will be effective starting 1 July.

E. Vieillefond is an engineering graduate of the Institut Supérieur de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace (ISAE-SUPAERO) and the Ecole Polytechnique de Paris. He also holds a DEA in industrial economics from Toulouse II University.

After serving in various positions with the French Ministry of Defense, the French Treasury, the French Government Shareholding Agency (Agence de Participations de l'Etat - APE) and the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF), E. Vieillefond joined the Covéa Group in 2014, where he assumed a number of senior roles. In 2021, he became Senior Advisor and Founder-Chairman of Praesential, a strategic consulting firm for companies.

In September 2022, E. Vieillefond joined CCR as Deputy CEO.
