SCOR: appointment of Thierry Léger as CEO following Laurent Rousseau's resignation

Thierry LégerSCOR's Board of Directors has unanimously approved the appointment, effective 1 May 2023, of Thierry Léger as Chief Executive Officer. François de Varenne has been appointed interim CEO until T. Léger takes office.

T. Léger has an experience of 25 years in the reinsurance industry where he held several management positions, most recently as Head of Underwriting at Swiss Re.

This appointment follows the resignation of Laurent Rousseau from his duties as CEO and board member of SCOR. L. Rousseau, Denis Kessler's successor since 30 June 2021, is leaving the French group after 18 months of activity in this position.
