Ala Abdel Jawad, new Vice-Chairman of the Jordan Insurance Federation

The Board of Directors of the Jordan Insurance Federation (JIF), which held its Ordinary General Meeting on 28 January 2024, has appointed Ala Abdel Jawad to the position of Vice-Chairman of the supervisory body. He is taking over from Imad Al-Hajjah. A. Abdel Jawad is also CEO of Solidarity First Insurance.

A graduate of the University of Derby (UK) and the University of Jordan, A. Abdel Jawad has an extensive background in the insurance industry. He has held a number of senior positions with companies including MedGulf Insurance (Amman) and Jordan Insurance Company.

He joined the JIF Board of Directors in 2015 as a member.
