Mohamed Ibrahimi, new General Manager of Wafa IMA Assistance

Mohamed Ibrahimi has been appointed General Manager of Wafa IMA Assistance. He will be replacing Badreddine Belghiti, who has been promoted Deputy General Manager in charge of Wafa Assurance's corporate insurance division. The appointment will be effective as of 1 January 2023.

M. Ibrahimi holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Hassan II University in Casablanca, a postgraduate degree in banking and finance from François Rabelais University in Tours (France) and an MBA in auditing, risk management and corporate insurance from the Ecole Supérieure d'Assurances de Paris (ESA).

The new graduate first made his way into the insurance sector in 2006 with Saham Assurance. In 2009, he joined Wafa Assurance where, in 13 years of activity, he has held several management positions.

In June 2022, M. Ibrahimi has led the study, design and launch of Wafa Takaful, a new subsidiary of the Moroccan insurance group.
