Sanlam Maroc: 2023 results

Sanlam Maroc closed the 2023 financial year with a turnover of 6.152 billion MAD (611.4 million USD), up by 3.3% over one year.

Non-life premiums amounted to 5.3463 billion MAD (531.3 million USD), against 806.2 million MAD (80.1 million USD) for the life business.

The net result improved by 7.1% to reach 396 million MAD (39.4 million USD) compared with 370 million MAD (34.9 million USD) as at 31 December 2022.

Investments allocated to insurance operations totaled 16.261 billion MAD (1.6 billion USD), representing a 3.6% increase over one year.

The net technical reserves rose from 14.947 billion MAD (1.4 billion USD) in 2022 to 15.421 billion MAD (1.5 billion USD) in 2023, corresponding to a 3.2% growth.

The company's shareholders' equity stood at 5.23 billion MAD (520 million USD).

A dividend of 77 MAD (7.7 USD) per share will be proposed at the next Annual General Meeting.
