Sanlam Maroc: H1 2023 results

Sanlam Maroc has recorded a 3.8% increase in its turnover as at 30 June 2023. The premium volume went from 3.367 billion MAD (327.05 million USD) as at 30 June 2022 to 3.493 billion MAD (348 million USD) a year later.

The non-life half-yearly turnover amounted to 3.075 billion MAD (306.4 million USD), representing an 8.2% growth over one year. At 418 million MAD (41.6 million USD), life underwritings were down by 20.5% compared with the same period of 2022.

For the first half of 2023, the net technical reserves and investments allocated to insurance operations stood at 15.482 billion MAD (1.5 billion USD) and 15.799 billion MAD (1.6 billion MAD) respectively.
