First day of FANAF's 48th General Assembly
The Federation of African National Insurance Companies (FANAF) opened its 48th General Assembly on Monday, 19 February 2024.
Nearly 800 participants were welcomed on 17 and 18 February 2024 in Nouakchott, the host city for this annual meeting.
The inaugural conference was chaired by Abdallah Ould Souleymane OULD CHEIKH SIDYA, high-ranking official and former Minister and Prime Minister of Mauritania. The program is devoted to the theme of "Insurance at the service of Africa's economic and social development".
The first panel of the day, entitled "Risk prevention and insurance", is divided into two sub-panels:
- prevention in motor insurance
- prevention for other risks
