AMI Assurances: two new appointments

AMI Assurances has announced two appointments to its management team. Faker Rais has been appointed Deputy Chief Executive Officer, and Mhadheb Mhadhebi Secretary General.

A graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Management of Sfax, Tunisia, and of the Arab Maghreb Development Financing Institute (IFID), Tunis, Faker Rais began his career in 1991 as an Underwriter with Best Re. In 2001, he joined Labuan Re, where he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of its regional office in Bahrain.

Faker Rais then joined United Cooperative Assurance Company (UCA), Saudi Arabia, where he was CFO and Acting CEO from 2011 to 2019. F. Rais joined AMI Assurances in 2021 as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

Mhadheb Mhadhbi studied law at the University of Annaba, Algeria, and at the Faculty of Sousse, Tunisia. He started his career as a Labor Inspector with the Tunisian Ministry of Social Affairs.

He then held a number of positions, including those of Administrative Director and Human Resources Director, in several Tunisian companies. He joined AMI Assurances in 2021 as Head of Human Resources and Logistics.
