AMI Assurances: turnover down in H1 2023

AMI Assurances has released its key business indicators for the first half of 2023. The turnover dropped by 21.4% from 111.015 million TND (36.1 million USD) on 30 June 2022 to 87.257 million TND (28.2 million USD) one year later.

During the period under consideration, non-life premiums improved by 7.3% to reach 74.569 million TND (24.1 million USD). Life insurance underwritings were down by 69.4% over the year to 12.688 million TND (4.1 million USD), excluding the closing of a major life insurance contract.

Settled claims declined by 13.8% to 46.511 million USD (15 million USD) as at 30 June 2023.

The financial products amounted to 18.564 million TND (6 million USD) against 14.038 million TND (4.6 million USD) by the end of June 2022.
