ASTREE: 2023 results

The insurance and reinsurance company ASTREE has closed the 2023 financial year with a 1.7% increase in turnover.

The figure went from 236.035 million TND (75.2 million USD) on 31 December 2022 to 240.008 million TND (78.2 million USD) one year later.

Non-life premiums have progressed by 12.3% to 169.151 million TND (55.1 million USD). As for life underwriting, it amounted to 70.857 million TND (23.1 million USD), down by 17% over one year.

During the reporting period, incurred losses were up by 24.3% to 150.922 million TND (49.2 million USD).

The investment income stood at 56.924 million TND (18.5 million USD), representing a 34.2% increase compared to the same period of 2022.
