Attijari Assurance: 2022 results

Attijari assuranceAttijari Assurance's financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2022 show a turnover of 112.2 million TND (35.7 million USD), which represents a 15.7% decline over one year.

The Tunisian insurer ended the financial year 2022 with a 16.8% increase in its net profit to 13.2 million TND (4.2 million USD).

The net incurred losses which amounted to 32.4 million TND (10.3 million USD) were up by 2.9% compared to the end of 2021.

By the end of 2022, the company's shareholders' equity stood at 57.6 million TND (18.3 million USD), against 44.4 million TND (15.4 million USD) recorded twelve months earlier.

Attijari Assurance, a subsidiary of the Moroccan group Wafa Assurance and Attijari Bank Tunisie, was established in 2012 to carry out life insurance and capitalization operations in Tunisia.

With a share capital of 10 million TND (3.2 million USD), the company has been managed by Mohammed Amal Kaghat since March 2023.
