STAR: 2023 results

The Société Tunisienne d’Assurances et de Réassurances (STAR) has released its provisional results for the financial year ending 31 December 2023.

The annual turnover reached 391.527 million TND (127.6 million USD), showing a 2% increase compared to the 384.336 million TND (122.4 million USD) recorded at the end of 2022.

Non-life premiums stood at 349 million TND (113.7 million USD) against 42.527 million TND (13.9 million USD) for the life business.

The amount of settled claims was down by 4.2% over twelve months, totaling 257.139 million TND (83.8 million USD). Financial products have gone up by 6.3% to 98.736 million TND (32.2 million USD).
