Tunis Re: 2023 results

Tunis Re has published its key business indicators for the year ending 31 December 2023. The company's provisional turnover at that date amounted to 213.672 million TND (69.6 million USD), representing a 9.4% increase compared to the 195.339 million TND (62.21 million USD) recorded a year earlier.

Non-life premiums (excluding retakaful) have gone up by 10.1% to 184.621 million TND (60.1 million USD). Life underwriting reached 9.216 million TND (3 million USD), marking a 6.8% drop over one year.

The retakaful business closed the 2023 financial year with a turnover of 19.835 million TND (6.5 million USD), up by 11.2% over twelve months.

During the period under consideration, the net incurred losses stood at 141.944 million TND (46.2 million USD). The financial products amounted to 28.582 million TND (9.3 million USD).
