Tunis Re: turnover increase in H1 2022

Tunis Re has posted a turnover of 91.149 million TND (29.6 million USD) in the first half of 2022, representing a 14% increase in local currency, compared to the 79.83 million TND (28.6 million USD) recorded during the same period in 2021.

Non-life premiums totaled 78.285 million TND (25.4 million USD) compared to the 4.188 million TND (1.4 million USD) for the life class of business. As for the takaful activity, it has reported a half-year turnover of 8.676 million TND (2.8 million USD).

As at 30 June 2022, the incurred losses stood at 42.528 million TND (13.8 million USD) against 42.712 million TND (15.3 million USD) in H1 2021.

The financial products went from 12.477 million TND (4.5 million USD) on 30 June 2021 to 12.641 million TND (4.1 million USD) a year later.
