Turnover of listed Tunisian insurers as at 30 September 2023

The five insurance companies listed on the Tunis Stock Exchange have closed the first three quarters of 2023 with a 3.9% increase in their overall turnover. The figure went from 859.628 million TND (260.2 million USD) on 30 September 2022 to 893.116 million TND (281.3 million USD) one year later.

STAR has recorded 303.241 million TND (95.5 million USD) in written premiums for the first nine months of the current year. It is followed by Assurances Maghrebia, ASTREE and BH Assurance, with respective premium collections of 194.015 million TND (61.1 million USD), 190.505 million TND (60 million USD) and 130.193 million TND (41 million USD).

Assurances Maghrebia Vie has posted a turnover of 75.162 million TND (23.7 million USD) at the end of September 2023. In December 2022, Assurances Maghrebia Vie finalized its initial public offering on the Tunis Stock Exchange (BVMT).
