26th ordinary session of the Council of Offices of the CEMAC Pink Card systemThe 26th ordinary session of the Council of Offices of the Pink Card system of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) is being held from 16 to 20 January 2023 in Libreville, Gabon.

The meeting is devoted, among other things, to the implementation of the 2023 budget, the permanent General Secretariat's action plan for the year 2023 and the activities of the arbitration commission.

Since its creation, the Pink Card office has recorded 6 986 claims for an amount of 2 billion FCFA (3.3 million USD). The provisions for claims to be paid are estimated at 800 million FCFA (1.3 million USD).

Created in 1996, the International Motor Vehicle Insurance and Liability Card (Pink Card) facilitates the settlement of motor vehicle claims occurring in the CEMAC member countries, namely Cameroon, Central African Republic, Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Chad.
