Establishment of the Association of Arab Actuaries

General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF)During a meeting held on 17 March 2023 in Lebanon, the General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF) announced the establishment of the Association of Arab Actuaries (AAA).

The AAA will be dealing with issues related to the profession, exchanges and expertise. This initiative aims at providing more employment and educational opportunities for qualified actuaries, who are still limited in number in the MENA region.

The President of the new association will be appointed at the upcoming meeting.
