While the G20 countries are rejoicing from the start of an economic recovery after several consecutive years of “soft” growth, an IMF report, published in May 2017, has pointed out a growth  slowdown for two thirds of the African countries which account for 83% of the continent’s GDP. Another   finding regards a large part of the countries of the Middle East which remains caught up in the turmoil of political and social crises which hinder any kind of visibility.
