Jan 2014 Barclays Life Insurance Zambia will increase its capital which will rise from 10 million ZMW (2 million USD) to 25 million ZMW (5 million USD), a transaction set to be finalized before the end of 2013.
Barclays Life will, therefore, become the Zambian insurer with the largest capital as this injection will enable the insurer to extend the range and the marketing of its products.
