Increasing results for WAICA Re in 2015

WAICA Reinsurance has published its results for the year 2015. The premiums of the Sierra Leonean reinsurer went from 24.2 million USD in 2014 to 33.5 million USD in 2015, an increase of 38.4%.

This double-digit growth is primarily the result of the company's underwritings on the Ghanaian and Nigerian markets.
In 2015, the pre-tax result of the reinsurer posted a growth of 53%. As for the company's shareholder's equiy, it amounted to 38.4 million USD, up by 4% compared to 2014.
