In its latest report, "Best's Special Report," A. M. Best has unveiled its ranking of the MENA reinsurers in 2015 (Middle East and North Africa).

In detail, Qatar Re ranks first with 1.16 billion USD of premium income in 2015 followed by the Bahraini Trust Re (475.9 million USD) and the Turkish reinsurer Milli Re (342.3 million USD).

SCR Morocco (256.4 million USD) and CCR Algeria (237.7 million USD) have respectively the fourth and fifth positions. In its report, AM Best emphasized the significant jump in Qatar Re's 2015 results. The turnover of the Qatari reinsurer has more than doubled from 535.9 million USD in 2014 to 1.16 billion USD in 2015 .Qatar Re ranks,henceforth, 35th among the world's leading reinsurers.
