According to the insurance broker, Nexus, the Emirati market is poised to report an increase comprised between 8 and 10% in 2018. The new regulatory requirements are, nonetheless, likely to hinder growth.
“Several financial institutions will be struggling to meet the new regulatory provisions as regards minimum share capital”, the broker noted.
