The Capital Market Authority (CMA), Oman's insurance regulator, is asking local insurance and reinsurance companies to prepare for the implementation of IFRS [4] 17 (International Financial Reporting Standard).
This standard will come into effect in Oman in 2021. It will replace the one referred to as IFRS 4.
