A few months after the purchase of the XL Group was finalised, AXA began integrating its new Bermuda-based acquisition. According to the leaders of the new AXA XL entity, the integration process should be completed within two years.
This acquisition of XL Group by AXA [4] amounted to 15.6 billion USD. It allows the French leader to target the world's number one position in property and casualty insurance.
