SCOR launches Quantum Leap, its seventh strategic plan

Follwing the approval of its Board of Directors met on July 24, 2019, SCOR launched Quantum Leap. This is the seventh strategic plan since 2002. This new roadmap covers the period from July 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021.

Quantum Leap targets an annual growth of 4 to 7% with two major objectives:

• a high return on equity above 800 basis points over the 5-year risk-free rates over the cycle
• an optimal solvency ratio 2 in the 185-220% range

To innovate and expand its offer of products and services, SCOR will use new technologies namely artificial intelligence [4], robots, blockchain [5], big data, multicloud, satellite imagery,..

Vision in Action, the last plan before Quantum Leap, fully met its profitability and solvency objectives despite a difficult environment: high frequency of natural disasters [6], sustained low interest rates, regulatory reforms, geopolitical uncertainties...
