The Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI): the Saudi committee for health insurance, is introducing new measures to help health insurers and health service providers.
Such initiatives enter within the framework of support to cope with coronavirus [4].
The two main decisions involve:
- Maintaining the coverage of the health insurance policies in case the insurer fails to meet the payment of insurance premiums starting from 25 May 2020
- Extending the accreditation of health service providers from 1 April 2020 to 30 June 2020.
