As at 28 September 2020, the global death toll from Covid-19 has reached 1 002 561. The United States is by far the most affected by the pandemic with 7 321 343 of people infected and 209 453 deceased.

covid-19With more than 80 000 contaminations per day, India is on the way of becoming the country most affected by the disease.

China, the world' s most populated country where the disease originated, counts 85 351 contaminations up to now. Since 1 September 2020, the disease seems to have stabilized in China with an average of 8.5 infected people per day.
