During the third quarter of 2021, Munich Re [4] reported a net result of 400 million EUR (465.668 million USD) compared to 200 million EUR (234.104 million USD) a year earlier.
Such result, which is so far provisional, exceeds the analysts' forecasts which were expecting a loss of about 10 million EUR (11.6 million USD) due to pandemic and natural disasters.
The final results concerning Q3 2021 will be released on 9 November 2021.
