The UAE insurance industry [4] professionals are expecting a surge in reinsurance rates for the 2022 renewals.
The tariff hike would be mainly due to the increase in natural catastrophe claims and the decrease in interest rates.
The insurance market seems to be able to absorb this increase thanks to the positive financial results achieved by the main local stakeholders.
