Axa is finalizing the sale of some of its activities in Malaysia to the Italian insurer Generali. The transaction relates to the sale of 49.99% of the French insurer's stake in Axa Affin General Insurance and 49% in Axa Affin Life Insurance.
The deal is valued at nearly 140 million EUR (166.5 million USD).
The activities of Axa XL and Axa Partners in Malaysia are not included in this sale.
