AM Best affirms Arab Reinsurance Company's rating

ARAB REAM Best [4] has confirmed Arab Reinsurance Company's (Arab Re [5]) "B-" (fair) financial strength and "bb-" long-term credit ratings with a negative outlook.

The rating reflects the Lebanese reinsurer's strong balance sheet, adequate operating performance, and appropriate enterprise risk management.

The negative outlook reflects persistent country risk pressures, which could lead to a deterioration in the company's solvency, business profile and strategic positioning.
